Ubuntu 20.04.3 desktop (Cinnamon) - SSH disconnects when user logs off the desktop!

I tried to install it but it totally wrecked the disk and made it unbootable.
So I had to use one of the desktop ISOs and get a bootable system on it.
Right now there is LinuxMint-Cinnamon and I will check that out before I do some
other installs.
I am very uncomfortable with the way UbuntuServer wrecked the disk and did not
even put a valid EFI partition on it...
