Note that Microsoft 10 and 11 have a hosted Ubuntu environment.
That enables a lot of exploration of command line tools.
Mint and Ubuntu both install nicely on older hardware.
An astoundingly long list of Windows 10 machines are not Windows 11 qualified.
I expect to see a flood of refurbished very useful laptops when
companies start upgrading.
So inspect the hosted environment because from a command line
perspective it just works.
Installs and uninstalls with ease.
I would not dual/multi boot a work computer although I have done it
multiple times.
I had one with FreeBSD, Fedora, Centos, Ubuntu... to check builds for
hardware drivers.
