SSD reliability

Thanks for the answers so far. I forgot about fstrim.

Is there any other utility that's good for scanning files to ensure
their health.  I've run fsck and diskscan, but I'm not convinced
they're ok.

The system is running more normally now,e except for my cable Internet
and occasional system-wide pauses - momentary halts wherenothing
happens, then everything looks normal again.
