I cleaned the link up. You can remove /ref and everything after it
from any Amazon link.

I'm not sure, but if you go to the NVIDIA site, you can do a search
for that specific card to see if they support it with drivers in
GNU/Linux. I keep this bookmark handy for all purchases of NVIDIA
cards and/or to use as a reference at any time for checking whether
I'm running the latest driver:

https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Note that the drop-down menus will be populated with default choices
and you'll need to change them with your custom information each time.

They do support that card. It's listed in the "SUPPORTED PRODUCTS"
tab on this result page:

If you don't get enough information in here, the people who hang out
in these two places are very knowledgeable and keep up with the
latest information:

https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/

https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/

You can ask them questions and they'll generally respond pretty
quickly. Also, when shopping through the listings, don't bother going
more than a couple of pages back, because the deals are listed in
reverse chronological order. You'll also want to compare prices with
Amazon and/or any other favorite resources you have.

I trust both of those pages as highly-valued resources when building a
new computer and making decisions on the various hardware pieces. So
far, so good.
