Advice on Graphics crd does it play nice with ubuntu

The card will “just work” with the free and open ‘nouveau’ kernel
driver. To fully use all features (CUDA, OpenCL, GPU computing) one will
have to use Nvidia's drivers, which work very well.

Yes, we use scientific GPU computing on Nvidia GPUs in Linux (mostly
Ubuntu) extensively.
