I am assuming GNOME 3 as the desktop, since you did not specify.
On Wayland or X.11?
Whichever: what happens if you try the other?
What GPU(s)? If >1, what are they?
What or whose driver for it?

Help us to help you, by giving as much _relevant_ info as possible.
We don't really need to know what vendor sold your monitors. :-) The
size isn't very important, either.
We might need to know how they are connected, to what ports, on what
devices, but you didn't say any of that.
