The Office 365 they were talking about isn't the web-based version.
Office 365 has a web-based version and a desktop version that's more
like the MS Office that many people are used to. The blog has a guide
for the desktop version, complete with macro support and whatnot, if
I'm understanding correctly. (The web version doesn't have VBA macro
support IIRC). I can't vouch for its effectiveness (I don't have a
Microsoft 365 subscription), but it looks pretty cool.
