Since one of my Linux installs is a real rolling release distro, I'm
aware that there could be other pitfalls, that can require manual
intervention. If such a pitfall happens, then unlikely an automated
procedure to upgrade from the pre-release to the official release by
kind of a release upgrade would provide a safe solution.
