Thanks for the info. I'm also using Pale Moon and Firefox. PM is slow
and uses lots of resources - is running mostly weather and satellite
animations and uses 80-100% CPU. After running a few days gets slow and
'jittery' - need to close and reopen. 2G swap gets 100%; not sure if
that's part of the problem.
I like privacy/security. Vivaldi sounded nice - used Opera for a
long time - but, from my notes some time ago:
Chromium based - not a fan of Google at all
a webpage that will hack Chrome will also hack Vivaldi
Still dependent on Google
Can't disable all spyware features
Ran Waterfox, liked it re privacy, a bit ?? re security but updating it
didn't work out very well so not running it now. Would go back if
updating is better.
Ran Konqueror for a long time - liked it, but seems gone.
Opera/Chrome is owned by a Chinese Consortium
