If you need Office365 access with your to-be mailer (ie an Evolution Mail
EWS alternative) I've found that the Owl extension for Thunderbird to be
excellent value.
It's payware, but well worth it.

I've used Owl for a while, but found that Evolution Mail works better for me
with our current work setup. Nobody puts Evolution in the corner! ;-)
