Cisco with SAML not working

I am using 22.04 LTS

I did have the Cisco any connect client working - but new
certificate change on VPN side and I can no longer login. the auth window
never pops up.

I then tried installing openconnect and define a VPN with Network-Manager -
there too I cannot get an auth window to pop up.

Anyone gotten SAML under ubuntu to work ?
Any tricks ?
