22.04 os update lost virt-manager network

Over the weekend I did an
apt update
apt upgrade

now this morning seems like non of my virt-manager images can get network.

I checked that virt-manager dns process is running
When the machine boots its not hitting the DHCP server with any request

I have verified that network activate on boot is active.
I have rebooted again
I am using bridged network - I verified that is still set on the images.

Where do I start with that?
