Does somebody use both, current Intel and AMD tower PCs?

I have an (older) AMD based ATX Mobo. The processor is OK, but the NVIDIA
graphics chip is a PITA -- one application I use, KiCad, regularly manages to
"crash" either the graphics chip or the nouveau driver (I have not determined
if the problem is hardware or software whatever it is I need to SysReq the
box). The NVIDIA network chip also seems to sometimes go off into never never
land. If/When I upgrade this machine I will bit the bullet and get an Intel
mobo, unless there appears on the market a reasonably priced ARM64 system on
an ATX Mobo (I'm mostly done with x86 family processors). I do need a mobo
with *lots* of SATA ports (the Mobo I have now has 6 SATA ports). I mosly do
text, so a "fancy" GPU is not something I have any use for.
