Ubuntu Pro fail adding 3rd computer

I checked my Software Updater settings after upgrading my primary
desktop to the 5.19 kernel (Xubuntu 22.04.2 LTS HWE) and found that it
was already enabled. That's fine. I also enabled the App support
without any issue.
When I upgraded my laptop to the same kernel, I had to enable the Pro.
This called for a confirmation that was confusing. I logged into my
Ubuntu One account and made the change there, and it automatically
updated my laptop's SU settings with both Pro and Pro App enabled.
So far so good.
I was going to upgrade my wife's laptop to the same kernel, and it was
already running that (!). But when I tried to enable Ubuntu Pro, it
wanted me to confirm, and neither confirmation choice worked. One has
a confirmation code but hte "Confirm: link is grayed out. The other
asks for an input code, so I copied the one shown in the other choice
and clicked "Confirm." It said "invalid code." I tried this twice,
same result both times.
I logged into Ubuntu One on her machine, and I could not get it to add
her machine to my Pro. I went back to the SU method, and it again said
the codes were all bad - each time it was the same code it just gave
me.
So far I have 2 machines out of the limit of 5 I'm allowed for free in
Pro, and unable to do #3.
