Hi,

it's not an insult. You are not using Ubuntu and just mentioned that you
are using the version provided by your Mint release, guessing that it
doesn't work, because it's old. You should know better what VBox version
is provided by your release of Mint, than an Ubuntu user does, but you
either don't know the version or you are not willing to provide this
information. You say it doesn't work, but neither provide the steps to
reproduce the issue, let alone that you don't provide any warnings,
error messages or a description in what way it doesn't work. You did not
mention that following an advice failed, that you found by your Internet
research, before you sent the request. IMO this leads to the conclusion
that an user error is very likely.

Imagine somebody takes the time to provides a step by step guide, how to
install Windows 10 from an USB stick and you might reply that you have
been using computers since the early 80's and already did each of those
steps before you sent the request to the mailing list, but those are
exactly the steps that failed to do the job.
