Has gnumeric been abandoned by Ubuntu Linux

Okay - I am wondering about a response from David Fletcher, to whose 
message, I was replying, who is also running Linux Mint Mate 21.1, the 
same as me.

Maybe, his synaptic, gives the same result as for me. That was what I 
was trying to find.
