from Windows it's probably

  1.[Win]key+R
  2. Enter msinfo32

at least related to a reply I got from Gigabyte support.

I didn't read this thread, however, I'm building a computer with a
latest generation Intel Core and a new motherboard. FWIW I could install
a Xubuntu 20.04 from a Ventoy stick, but indeed there are a some irks
and quirks of new hardware. The new LAN chips of my mobo requires to
build the driver by myself, that#s no problem. But there are other
issues. When using the GPU of the new Intel CPU enabling legacy boot by
the mobo doesn't work, confirmed by Gigabyte support. It's an Intel
"feature", to drop legacy boot. The bell signal for the power-on self-
test doesn't work when selecting a fast boot option, fortunately it
still works, when disabling any fast boot option. I didn't get this info
by Gigabyte support, they still don't know why it's not working, but
from the Arch Wiki,
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PC_speaker#Mechanism : "Upon boot the
BIOS will traditionally generate a beep during POST. More recent
motherboard models omit the POST beep in favor of rapidly booting into
the OS."

I can't get the beep working for Linux sessions. The pcspkr-module
worked with my old Intel CPU and old Gigabyte motherboard, but stopped
working for my 13. generation Intel Core and new Gigabyte motherboard.

In the future we can expect more such issues and perhaps the OP already
suffers from such issues, but again, I didn't read the whole thread.

Regards,
Ralf
