SOLVED, was: removing wslview from Ubuntu-only computers?

To make a long story short...
I got tired of waiting, and typed "sudo apt remove wslu", the package
that contains wslview.
Now Obsidian opens with LibreOffice and evince the .odt or .pdf files
as it should, without bad side effects on the rest of the system,
AFAICT.
If anybody has a clue as to what happened, and why, I'd still like to
know, of course. Frankly, I do not know when or how wslview entered my
system, as I fail to see any way I may use it...
