Connection refused when I try to update the packages on Ubuntu 23.10 ? but my connection works properly.

Apparently, there was was problem with the server earlier as the mirror 
sync update was verified up to yesterday but not for today.

The website seem to be working now, though I don't know if the mirror is 
in sync with the main Ubuntu archive since its update status is listed 
as unknown.

You may want to try one of the other mirrors in Italy as they show 
they're up to date.
