Thank you Liam,
I had already played with the font settings under "appearance" . I have
the font Noto Sans Regular set to 12 and Monospace Regular set to 14 and
the custom dpi set to 120. I have also selected Greybirb-dark as the
style. I've never tried the dark mode before this but it does help with
the glare. I had eye surgery on both eyes six months ago and since then
everything is so bright.
These settings are generally good but I've had to adjust the type size
in some of the applications that I use often.
I followed the guide that you posted but the added setting doesn't
seemed to have made any difference. I'll experiment with this further.
