blue tooth issues

Something went haywire with bluetooth on both systems on my laptop, 22.04
and 23.10.  Here is the output when I try to pair using blueman manager. It
shows the device connected.   When I open the bluetooth applet it shows the
device is not.

Any suggestions?  This is driving me crazy!
