Failure installing Ubuntu 24.04 on an USB stick

I don't get it. You mean to inspect the source code?

Not yet. I think I will.

I've tried to install 22.04 again on that stick and it *failed*. Then I
tried again and it worked again... 

Maybe I should switch to a different distribution. I think I'll try that do-
release-upgrade on my two systems, some time after 24.04.1 is released. When
that breaks them (or one of them), meaning I need to reinstall from scratch,
then I switch.
