Hi,
I downloaded and installed the 24.04.1 RC, AMD64 and installed it on a
lenovo T500 ThinkPad.
I like to start programs quickly by pressing SUPER + a number key (the
number being the icons position on the launcher from 1-9, 0 for the tenth
icon)
I also jump back to already running programs by pressing SUPER + a number
key
I also start a new instance of an already running program by pressing
SUPER+SHIFT + a number key.
I installed emacs and started using it. Some of the time it opens in a
"scratch" buffer. Sometimes it opens in a greatly reduced window showing
the "scratch" buffer. Sometimes its window doesn't appear and I get a
crash report.
ExecutablePath /usr/bin/emacs-gtk
ProblemType crash
Title emacs-gtk crashed with SIGABRT
Architecture AMD64
If I right click on the emacs dash icon and select "New Instance" it works
perfectly.
Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?
TIA,
Ian
