Using Kubuntu 22.04 with an ancient HP z440 Workstation (Intel(R)
Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v3 @ 3.50GHz), my WFH computer
The only headsets I've managed to get working with Zoom and Teams are
corded USB and regular jacked headsets, and the Logitech Pro X wireless
Gaming Headset.
I tried a known-to-work (according to several reports on the internets)
Asus USB-BT400 USB-to-Bluetooth dongle with my Sony XM3 and Bose QC35-
II headsets. But, no go...
At work I have a "HP ProBook 440 14 inch G9 Notebook PC" running
Kubuntu 24.04 with which I use a wireless Logitech G930 headset from
the stone age wirth Teams and Zoom. Works fine, as does the corded USB-
headset I have as a backup.
Forgive my comment, but bluetooth with anything Ubuntu-based seems to
be a hot mess for me. I don't know if other linux distros are better.
Have tried Bluez, Blueman etc, same thing. Either the sound output is
fine but no mike, or the mike works but the sound is from the speakers,
or some other combo that isn't quite right, or nothing sound-wise works
at all.
