Look for a SSD drive with a USB interface, like
<https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GYM5F8G>. Read speed is 420
MB/s, write speed is 380 MB/s. It will feel like a regular SSD.

I keep a copy of Windows2Go on one so I can flash the BIOS/UEFI on my
machines. Other than the SanDisk, there are no Windows machines in our
household.
