Migrating from 20.04 -> 22.04 -> 24.04 on headless Ubuntu server?? + hardware upgrade

For what its worth, I use a RPi5 as my main desktop system.  I also have a 
RPi4 on my workbench as well.  I just use SSH Tunneling for the other machines 
and don't use VNC at all.
