Odd.

Are you 100% sure it's booting in UEFI mode?

The easiest way to find out if you are running UEFI or BIOS is to look
for a folder `/sys/firmware/efi`.

Is there any chance there is >1 ESP? That is the hidden UEFI
partition. It's normally mounted at `/boot/efi`.
