Hi,

I'm using expensive brandet, such as washable "Seal Shield" and low
budget 5,- € "non-name", such as "Media Range" USB keyboards connected
by an adapter to a PS/2 port. It's said that not all USB keyboards are
PS/2 compatible, but for me connecting an USB keyboard by an adapter to
a PS/2 port never failed.

I already experienced power saving issues with USB ports, so that the
USB mouse stopped working, but the only issue I experience with
keyboards from time to time, when connected by PS/2, is that an US
keyboard layout is expected, while I'm using DE keyboards.

For real-time (audio) or gamers and probably for some other domains PS/2
is anyway the better choice.

Regards,
Ralf
