cannot install unetbootin

I used Ventoy and got so far as to install Windows:

but cannot understand this bit about UEFI, EFI, GPT, MBR and CSM.
If the the hdd has MBR, then what?
If the hdd has GPT, then what?
I cannot find anything about CSM in the Dell BIOS settings. The closest I
see is to disable legacy boot.
I could possibly mount the hdd externally, provided that I can find the
right cables. If so, maybe I can just "install" windows 10 from Linux
somehow?
