I installed gmtp as suggested here:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/61348912/unhandled-error-message-while-accessing-android-phone-ubuntu-19-10

rebooted, did not work. Disconnected my phone again, told it to allow
data transfer, and then nautilus showed one "Samsung" folder" inside
the first one. Inside it, I found the Voice Recorder folder again, but
this time it HAD all the recordings, which I could finally copy on my
hard drive.

So it worked, once, but I really don't know how, why, or how
repeatable/stable this whole thing is. Comments and explanations will
be very appreciated.

Marco
