That's interesting, thanks. But what I really want to do a bit
different, because I'm assuming the issue will be fixed.

My system normally has two kernels available (the latest one installed
and the one installed before that). What I want to do is make sure
that the -105 version remains available even when an upgrade pulls in
a newer (than the -106) kernel. Then I can boot into the new version,
see if it works, and still have -105 as a fallback. I think what I
need to so is just set the -105 packages so they are flagged as
manually installed.
