Get kernel 6.5.0 back 22.04

Is there a way to get back to kernel 6.5.0.
I am fully patched 22.04 and 6.5.0 kernel is not installed any more - moved
to 6.8.0

I need to drop back as VMWARE will not re-compile.
(anyone know a TRICK to get vmware to re-compile)
I can seem to find in the "craziness" that is VMWARE the workstation 17 pro
download.  What a mess they have created.
