Xubuntu 24.04.1: Firefox fails to start

Hi,

for testing purpose create a new user account.
https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/create-a-user-account-on-ubuntu-linux/
Log out and log in as the new user.
(Try to) run Firefox.
