Need the help of someone.

I've got a really old system, that I had to fire up. It's running old
firefox, and something has screwed up such that it's not using the old
profile. Simply gives/shows the default/blank google page.

As far as I can tell (from some research), the profile data should
still be accessible/there if there's a .parentlock file. There was one
-- but I stupidly didn't think to copy it!! before I rebooted and
refired up FF..

I thought i had made complete backups/copies of old systems, but can't
find any of the drives right now.

So, if anyone running firefox could check out their box and paste the
.lock and .parentlock files, I'd be a possibly happy camper.

by the way..
when i ran /usr/bin/firefox --ProfileManager and selected the
"default" profile (the location is where it appears all the data
exists..) the "tabs" didn't appear.

thanks

ps, I'd run this on my regular ubuntu box, but it's down, and firing
up a digital cloud doesn't run FF!!

thanks
