Odd locate behavior

I've recently upgraded from Xubuntu 22.04 to 24.04.1, and I came
across this weird behavior in the last few days.

The locate command (which apparently is now plocate) does not work on
any file in my home Music directory. It finds every other place I have
a music file stored, but nothing in my ~/Music shows up.

I checked all around my environment and config files, but no joy.

Anyone have some light to share on this?
