Kubuntu 22.04 will not update.

Hi,
When I updated from Ubuntu 22.04.4 to 24.04.1, I:-
1. Did a backup of my key files and a few others for good measure.
2. Uninstalled emacs (the .deb variant)
3. Upgraded to 24.04.1
4. Installed emacs from the App Store (in this release it had become a
snap).

It worked fine. Thank you to all involved in working on 24.04.1 :)
