Geany is cool and has the right attitude, but its incomplete support
for LSP is a serious deficiency for an IDE, in 2024.  Given its use
model, LSP should be a huge win/force multiplier for a project like
Geany so I'm a little surprised they didn't jump on it aggressively.

Work seems to be proceeding here: https://github.com/techee/geany-lsp
but it needs more (just as an example, only supporting integration via
stdin/stdout is a big limitation).

Unfortunately for me I've been coding in Emacs since, well, let's just
say before Linux started to work on Linux.  I've never found an editor
that can replace it in my muscle-memory, and all the "Emacs emulation"
modes I've tried are just not good enough.

And of course, there is no Git integration anywhere in any editor that
comes close to Emacs Magit :).
