OK... I went to that page and it looked scary. Then I decided to download
the BIOS files and agreed to register and was greeted with a demand for
$30/month, varying other rates, peaking at $1,800/year!

I tried searching on the Acer website for "63514733776" and got access to 2
documents and a "Quick Access Application".

OK. I'll ask Alan for that.

Ensures I'll never willingly buy one of those, either.

If all else fails, the system will be used as a Windows 10 based ZX
Spectrum emulator. This is a bit of an ask, especially on a Linux mailing
list, can anyone recommend a Windows 10 compatible ZX Spectrum emulator for
this system?

Someone I know from a Creative Writing group has a highly virus infected
Windows 10 computer so Alan and I gave her a netbook with Debian LXDE and
LibreOffice on it. Over the coming months I'll be teaching her how to use a
computer - she's in her 80's. She won't be going online with it (it only
has 1GiB RAM). These old systems can have a use, albeit in a modest way.

Thank you everyone,

Ian
