"System program problem detected" what to do?

Every time I log in to the desktop on my newly installed Ubuntu 24.04.1 server
(I have installed the MATE desktop) I am greeted with a pop-up dialog saying:

System program problem detected
Do you want to report the problem now?

But it does not matter that I report it, next time I log on to the desktop the
same happens over and over!

What is the real problem here?

Note that the dialog does NOT offer a way to see what was detected, the only
possible actions are Report or Cancel.

How can I stop this from happening?
