Ubuntu support for Banana Pi?

Armbian (ARM Debian) is a Debian variant for (little) ARM systems, like the
Banana Pi. It is similar to Ubuntu and I believe it uses some of Ubuntu's code
base. I believe that BPS has Armbian uSD images on their support Wiki, at
least that is where I got the original image for my Banana Pi M64. There is a
support forum for Armbian. The Banana Pi M64 does need special Linux kernel
builds for its SOC, partitularly if you want access to things like the
on-board camera interface, I am not sure about other Banana Pi boards. I
believe Armbian also supports Orange Pi boards as well.
