Hi,
in the past something called ntfs-3g was the way to go, nowadays the
kernel provides the module ntfs3. Actually there are 3 NTFS drivers
available. The current kernel module ntfs3, an old kernel module ntfs
and a driver that isn't part of the kernel, ntfs-3g.
I don't use NTFS. However, a starting point for troubleshooting is
running
lsmod | grep ntfs
to see what NTFS module (driver) is loaded, if any module is loaded at
all.
Regards,
Ralf
