"df -h", "lsblk", "blkid -o device" (working without sudo) don't help,
since those commands don't show unallocated space. Thew OP already
provided the information via the fdisk command, that also shows
unmounted partitions. Since the OP is used to gparted, it might be good
to take a look at gparted, too. However, my impression is, that there
might be something fishy with the connection. Assuming it's an USB
connection lsusb shows the USB to disk (likely SATA) controller.
