installing ubuntu on a new system - questions

Hi Bruce,

Assuming I've read your messages correctly, you want to have your system
with the OS on an internal SSD and the rest of everything on an external
USB drive.

I don't remember if you are working on a laptop or a desktop/power system.

Personally, I'd be very reluctant to store key parts of my setup on an
external USB drive. Too many things can go wrong.

What is the capacity of your internal SSD?
