No, I don't use pools at all. Neither a layer like LVM, nor file systems
that are also volume managers. IMO, the file system approach is the
stumbling block that prevents FreeBSD from becoming a widely used
operating system for desktop computers.
You can't put a data center on a table. For anything you can put on a
table, pools make little sense.
