Both my email addresses subscribe to the ubuntu-users list. The issue
was that posts to he list would be delivered successfully to my gmail
address but not to tony at acasystems.org address, which is handled by my
Synology NAS box. Hence the confusion! You will see from other posts in
this thread that I've found a fix.
