I did this search on Google:

	why would sudo lshw -c net show  *-network DISABLED if the
	network can be used to send an email

The AI bot popped up with a lengthy bunch of possibilities. Rather
than me posting all of it here, you might want to do the same search
and see if some of the bot's suggestions work (keeping in mind, of
course, that those bots sometimes lie or get stuff wrong).
