Thanks, I now know what it is about.
Not wanting to turn off notifications of real issues, I still do not know if this
is indicating a problem or just informational.
It is not impossible that the laptop did sustain some damage somewhere in the power path...
For example, so far the laptop does not recognize that AC is connected, which it is of course.
It also does not see the battery or boot from it, but this is an after-market one so probably expected.
BTW, when I run clonezilla over the USB NIC, the messages show very often, many each second,
however I noted at one time there were none for the first half of the process and then a flood came.
Let me say that this is a "toy" for me, so I am ready to try anything with it and learn.
