In the other direction, for many years I maintain a local list of all
RFCs and Internet Drafts via cron:
1 3 * * * rsync -tvz ftp.rfc-editor.org::rfcs/*.txt /home/common/ietf/rfcs
1 4 * * * rsync -tvz rsync.ietf.org::id-archive/*.txt
/home/common/ietf/drafts
As no telling what I may need while flying along at FL32.
Of course that drafts directory is HUGH!
