Weird thing happening

When I type something in the browser search field and enter to search, then
file manager launches with the same word in the save field. This just
started and I can't figure out how to stop it and get back to normal. Also
if I select a file to move in file manager, when I navigate to when I want
it to go, my only options are rename or move to trash. Any ideas would
be appreciated.
