Acer One 11 Laptop BIOS update

Hi,

This laptop needs a BIOS update to be able to boot operating systems other
than Windows from its internal eMMC storage.

To quote Alan,





*"I have had a trawl through the Acer support site, even to the extent
ofdownloading Acer's tool to reveal the exact serial number - and it
seemsthat it is out of support - the only downloads on offer are user
manuals- no BIOS.It looks like a third-party site for bios files is the
only choice - anythoughts on which might be more reliable?"*

Any ideas?
